Subvocal recognition

Subvocalization is the process of internal speech in ones mind. When you read, you can hear inside your mind a voice that is corresponding with what you read as if you were hearing it with your ears.

NASA started a research project under AMES Research Laboratories that studies sub vocalization signals and turns them into text in a process similar to speech recognition.

The output of this process can be used in speechless communication and in controlling computer or hardware equipment those can in-turn control other machines such as wheel chairs.
